It's true, though, do support the arts. I love going to the Kalamazoo Institue of Art's holiday sale (the first Saturday of December every year...plug, plug, plug)--so much great stuff and because it's a mix of both faculty and student art you can see some amazing work and maybe even find a piece that you like for a surprisingly affordable price. Every year I add another piece to my "collection" in my office. Love it.
