AS a graduate of the MSU School of Hospitality Business, and as the CEO and a founder of BIGGBY COFFEE, as a Michigan company that has over 20 months of double digit growth, as someone who has never turned down a speaking request at MSU…5-10 a year for no compensations…it is disappointing to never have been asked or been sent a rfp ….ever. Branding? Give me a break !!

That's just too bad! Can't believe they wouldn't even consider Biggby! I'd do anything to have a biggby in my office. I've suggested a bank drive through tube between my office and the local Biggby.
So who did they ask for RFPs from besides Sta**ucks? Inquiring minds would love to know!
I am currently living on MSU campus and when I found out that they were putting a Starbucks rather than a Biggby in Well's hall, I was so annoyed! Nothing compares to Biggby coffee and I am sorry for all those people who have to drink Starbucks coffee now. I would rather walk over to the union to make sure I can get my Biggby coffee than go to Starbucks.
Starbucks came into our local University (Ferris State University - Big Rapids) and I will continue to cross the street and go to Biggby for a better cup of coffee, smiling faces, and a great environment!
