Aaron Marley...and not Bob

Just another sumthin' that the folks at BIGGBY do :)

Rollings Middle School of the Arts is pleased to announce BIGGBY COFFEE, located at 717 Trolley Road, as a new Business Partner. BIGGBY COFFEE is displaying RMSA’s visual art students’ work for a three week period.

For each regularly priced item purchased, customers are given one vote. For each “vote” - BIGGBY COFFEE donates $1 to RMSA’s Visual Art Department. BIGGBY COFFEE provides the winners, each week, with art supplies that these students can then utilize in the classroom.

The excitement of this display was heightened when Principal Elena Furnari served the customers as the GUEST BARISTA on October 28th. RMSA had a great turnout – bringing lots of new customers to BIGGBY COFFEE and lots of votes. BIGGBY COFFEE graciously contributed $138 from sales of week one’s display to RMSA’s visual art department. Future guest barista’s include Vice-Principal Camilla Pinckney on 11/06, and Art Teachers Meg Skow & Kevin Morrisey on 11/11. RMSA is fortunate to be working with owner, Aaron Marley of BIGGBY COFFEE, and thank him for allowing them to display students’ work and sharing their art with the community.

That's cool that Aaron got some recognition for his involvement with the school, and some recognition for the Refrigerator Art Program, which I think is just so cool. Congrats to Aaron, and to Tony D. for that matter...this should be a feather in his cap. Nice work. -JD

Biggby Coffee (store 234), with the support of Rollings Middle School of the Arts, was able to donate $550 toward the art program. The school was able to buy new canvases and paint brushes for there upcoming projects. We look forward to round 2 at the end of January. - Aaron
