It's a just survey!

For some of you that've been askin'....I hear the Peanut Butter Big Chill is comin' back late this week.....yahooo!

It is an absolute delight and made me think of suvey'n again (you know we had a survey where a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup beat out Ghirardeli Chocolate, Hershey Kiss, and Lindor Balls)...not surprising, but I digress.

Anyhoo...I been thinkin' about all this stuff, I mean I'm out there...and I always run into people tellin' me that they are 'big time' BIGGBY customers...and I always ask them....what store do you go to?....and inevitably they have many locations that are they call their favorite....but they always have a MOST favorite...and I love to hear that, ya'know?

Now I have this debate all the time....sometimes with myself :), sometimes with others...but I gotta know.....What makes your store, your favorite?!

Is it your Barista?
Is it the place?
Is it your drink?
Is it the fun?

Listen, you can fill out the survey on the right an' let me know....Or drop me a line in the comments below and tell me it's everything or something I missed, either way I'm interested.

Now I have my own thoughts on the deal, and I even have some money on it with the VP of Ops, Tom...so don't let me down! Tom's been right more often than not lately and I need a win!

I'll be out of pocket tommorrow at a board meeting for the Michigan Restaurant Association (I'll be Chairman of the organization next year...so it's a must-do.)

B-Happy!

I totally love everything about Biggby. I've been a fan since the first time I stopped in at one. I've also converted a few people over the years to add to the Biggby fan club. I've even used Biggby as a basis for two papers in business school and aced both of them! Every Biggby store I've visited is fun, helpful and friendly with excellent customer service. I, personally, don't know anyone who is a bigger Biggby fan than I - although some are getting close. Thanks for such great coffee and a great Biggby family.

Not too long ago they had a survey on the net as to why Starbucks is having trouble. I was one that answered saying that their coffee tasted bitter and their prices were outrageous for the swill.... I LOVE a great cup of coffee, thats why I go to "Beaners". It will ALWAYS be Beaners to us and by the way we are from Stockbridge and travel to Okemos just for a cup.

I used to work at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Michigan State, and it seems like everyone there just loves Biggby's. Students, staff, faculty alike are sportin' Biggby's cups left and right... I myself have converted a few fellow students/staff and family members...Y'all got a great formula going here.. keep up the good work!

I stop at the Biggby in Jackson, MI every Wednesday night after my prenatal yoga class to pick up my craving for a mocha big chill. It's a good way to wind down the day, and the baristas there are always so nice and friendly. Thanks for having the drink that satisfies my pregnancy craving and for having such great employees!

I used to stop in the Biggby in Downtown Toledo quite often. BUT, until you make your employees stop parking at the metered parking spots right outside the door I won't return! Every morning one of the employees goes out and feeds the meter so he won't have to move his car.

The survey link didn't work for some reason, but I can tell you what I love about my neighborhood Biggby's is the beverage... I love their cappucinos. They foam up the milk on those caps like no other! Smooth.. delicious!

The place, the drinks, the people, it's all great. I love MY Beaners oops, Biggby. I have been to most of the stores in west Michigan but my favorite is my local store - Gull Road Kalamazoo - The Best!!!

I love going to new locations and ordering my favorite--a grande vanilla bean with skim and 1 1/2 shots of espresso. They usually take a second to think about it and then smile saying something like, "you sure know exactly what you want!" I have yet to get one that didn't come out perfect! For me, it's not only just the beverage options and taste, but also the overall positive and playful culture that exists in each store.

I love everything about Biggby! But I love the express coffee line the most, this is the best way to get me in and out of the store early in the morning and I never have to wait! Thank you!!

It is a "just survey" or "just a survey"? (Insert wry smile here. ) Our product Rules! And ultimately, that's just how it should be; an incredible beverage (the world's best coffee)has always laid the foundation for each store experience. Cool.

I would have to say it's the coffee. At other places I have to add something to the coffee in order for it to taste "right". Here I just order it, put the lid on and go. I would like to say that the Biggby in our town is fun but...it's just OK. The atmosphere is good though. Thanks for bringing good coffee to our town for a change.

Sometimes I dread walking into my Lake Lansing and Abbot (East Lansing, MI) Biggby because I just don't feel like talking to anyone! The people there are always too friendly and too nice. But before you go telling the franchisee that the employees are too outgoing.... stop. I may be introverted when I walk in, but by the time I walk out, I'm all smiles and ready to stop hiding from the world (then again, maybe it's just the Mocha Mocha talking).

I think someday soon you should drive around the lake and visit the store in Kenosha. You'll see that it's the perfect combination of barista and product that makes it a fun place to meet with friends.
So, now that the weather has cleared I hope you'll leave Michigan and come to Wisconsin for a day or two. You won't be disappointed.
See you soon...

I have 3 different Biggbys that I stop by regularly depending on where I am in Grand Rapids and all of them have great employees, always wanting to know what I am up to and they don't ask just because they have to, they actually listen to your answer. It is also the drinks, I never really like coffee until about a year ago when I really needed a caffine boost after giving up Mountain Dew and the Mocha Carmel did just that and was really good even with having coffee in it.

Wow, great comments here. It's awesome to hear people talk so passionately about why they love "their" BIGGBY store. Thanks, everyone, for sharing!

My favorite store is the Livonia store at Plymouth and Farmington Rds. I started going there when i worked around the corner on Schoolcraft, and now try to make a point to stop in on Thursdays on my way up to Keego Harbor.

Damon and the morning crew are the best!!!! They know exactly what I like, and always have smiles on when i come in (even the time they spilled my drink on me). There's even a store closer to home, but I would rather go and see my morning crew!

I am so so happy the Peanut Butter Big Chill is back. I wish it could stay all year! My first drink was the Peanut Butter Big Chill. I was hooked! I have tried other drinks but they do not compare to the PBBC! I have been waiting patiently & now they are back YAY! I am going to get one today!

There's so much to say and just not enough time to say it!!! Hey Bob! It's "Biggby Rocks" again! I love that you are having this survey because I get my chance to voice why I love Biggby so much....again! I agree that I have multiple stores that I frequent. To be honest, I mostly go for the following two reasons: 1) The baristas! My girlfriend and I share the same "favorite" store at Farmington & Plymouth Rds. We look forward to just walking in and talking to everyone! I especially love Damon, Nikki, and Theresa (who we call mom!) Vicki just loves everyone! But we also love the store at Woodward and 13 Mile in Royal Oak! We look forward to saying hello to Harmony! And now...onto my confession.... 2) I love Beaners (and yes, we also still call it Beaners!) because of the daily trivia! I've become an absolute fanatic about it! I was shocked one day when I went in to a Beaners and they didn't have a trivia question! I politely asked if they were a "real" beaners or a fake! I know this makes me out to be a total geek, but it's true. I said it... I love the trivia! Even if I don't go in to the store and Vicki does, I make sure she reads the question so I can hear it when she gets back in the truck!
